Ahmed W. Elroukh

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Economics Department at Lehigh University.

My research interests are in labor markets and empirical macroeconomics. My current research focuses on labor market dynamics. In particular, my research explores how human capital affects labor market outcomes in terms of employment status and wages. My research looks at recoveries in labor markets as well.

I have an extensive teaching experience with excellent teaching evaluations and university-level awards. I taught 9 courses as an independent instructor including Money, Banking, and Financial Markets, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and Economics and Business Statistics. I gained some of my teaching experience at a private liberal arts college.

I am on the job market and will be available for interviews at the ASSA meeting in San Diego in January, 2020.
